Mountain Café & Roastery
Started on 28 May 2021, Mountain Café & Roastery is a first-of-its-kind Café in Bhutan. Located next to Paro Town Plaza in a traditional Bhutanese building with a classy, contemporary ambience, Mountain Café & Roastery serves a wide range of non-veg multi-cuisines, both continental and authentic Bhutanese cuisines. And here’s the icing on the cake – the Café offers freshly brewed coffee made from the finest coffee grown in the southern foothills of Bhutan. Just so you believe, the coffee Roastery machine is right there! Another add-on is the cozy bar that serves a wide selection of cocktails and mocktails.

Lovely Cafe with locally grown coffee and great Bhutanese food. Highly recommend to also try the food here! I was fortunate to come here by recommendation from tour guide. So glad I skipped my hotel food option to try it here instead. The atmosphere is lovely -- the artwork is done by a local Bhutanese artist (happened to be a family friend of my driver lol), the coffee is solid coming from locally grown beans, AND the food was surprisingly very filling and tasty. I tried trout which was very fresh (caught locally from the rivers), and the traditional Chili and Cheese dish.

A visit to our roastery guarantees delicious coffee with in house made seasonal syrups and a front row view of our roasting and fulfillment process.
